Middle Aisle Video

I am so excited to share this video Malcolm and Anelise with MJ Films shot for Middle Aisle at one of our favorite weddings this spring! This wedding has the most adorable bride, great detail and I am in love with her color pallette of soft pinks, peach and neutrals. We love this promo he did and hope you like it too!

It makes me want to get married again! Such an amazing time in a couples life. I don’t think I could be any more blessed to do what I do and have the opportunity to work with all of them as they start there new chapter together.

ENJOY!

The Disater After the Beautiful Storm

I can’t bear to step into my office right now…

For you see, after a beautiful wedding, there lies a disaster waiting to be organized, separated and delivered to the rightful owners.

(Doorway shot only. I can’t bear to show you more then that!)

Even after a 14 hour day setting all these prettys up, running the wedding and taking it all back down, there is still another few hours to go even when everyone else has said there last goodbyes. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Because even though I might be a tired, a little sore and might have a few new bruises, (which I always have no idea how they even happened in one night), I still love what I do!

Most importantly this disaster after every wedding always reminds me how valuable Middle Aisle’s services are to a family after a big day of celebration to not be have to open their doors to a few more hours of work.

(ps, I will eventually finish up  my cute little office and post pictures, soon. Let’s hope. Or maybe just keep your fingers crossed for me. I’ve been known to jump from project to project in my house.:)

Brian and Christina Walk the Aisle

Brian and Christina are such a darling couple! I love their story on how they met. I love how smitten Brian is with Christina, and I LOVE when couples have their first dance under a canopy of lights. It feels oh so romantic and magical!

This couple had a very fun, handmade feel to their wedding. The wedding was bright, airy and screamed summer. The lemons and lace were a must for this bride and the aqua color made the yellow pop.

Thanks April with Foto&Film for taking some gorgeous pictures.

This wedding was just featured on St. George Weddings.com. I also wanted to post it here too since the cute bride gave some wedding day advice every bride loves to hear.

How Did you Meet?

Bride: “He showed up on my doorstep with brownies one night after seeing me at church and we were pretty much inseparable after that.

Their wedding announcement reflected just that wedding story.

What was your favorite part of your wedding?

Bride: “Besides Brian, I love the fact that our reception was outside and also that we had string lights. Once the sun went down and we were dancing under the lights, it was magical and perfect in every way.”

How did you choose a theme?

Bride: “I love to be out in nature so I have always dreamed of having an outdoor/fresh wedding, while still keeping it classy. That’s why I decided on a “lemons & lace” type of theme.”

Any advice to future brides?

Bride: “List making and delegation are two things that helped me a ton in planning a wedding. I learned it’s ok to ask for help, especially when you are the bride! Also, try to get as much done before the week of the wedding as you can, because you will not sleep that week. at. all. Other than that, just remember to enjoy it because it only happens once!”

Ahoy Mate! Birthday Party Fun.

My little man turned 1! I cant believe it. It seems like yesterday I was as swollen as a whale and anxious for the little man to come. You learn a lot as a new mother in your first year. You learn how valuable others experience is but learn sometimes it is necessary to ignore it your you will go mad. You learn the hard way in the middle of the night when they have a fever of 102 and are crying that it is going to be ok. Just Breathe. You learn bumps and bruises come from learning. And that you wouldn’t change a single hair on their little head!

I love my little monkey so much!

The inspiration for his first birthday party came from our trip to Florida. We took him out onto the beach, and he was sold. Eating handfuls of sand as fast as he could. (It’s a natural exfoliate for his insides? right?) It was just a battle I was never going to win. So we had a beach themed sail boat party. It was so much fun to do a kids birthday party and go as cheese and cute as you wanted. I hope you enjoy it.
